Toyota has been experimenting with a sun-powered Pirus which doesn't require any plugging-in, this project demonstration is sponsored by the Japanese Government. Hence as per the recent reports, it is known that the car can travel for 35 miles where an average American travels around 29 miles per day, Pirus will be charged only if there is good sunlight, but if it is cloudy or raining the performance may come down hence in this situations the Pirus needs to be plugged-in to get charged & can be used normally. Hope one fine day the project gets successful.
